Graphic Designer


This is a long-term, full-time position located in Washington, DC.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for:

  • Desktop publishing support and program/edit graphics and content on website.
  • Format and create charts, graphs, spreadsheets, icons and other elements.
  • Design logos, brochures, flyers, posters, signboards, wall panels and label installations, invitations and other collateral materials.
  • Provide assistance to software users by answering questions, resolving issues and assisting with software helpdesk.
  • Format virtual presentations for conferences.
  • Develop website graphics and content for homepage.

Skills and Abilities:

  • 2-3 years of experience with the design and creation of marketing materials such as brochures, logos, newsletters, reports and presentations.
  • Proficiency with the following software programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.

Marketing Supervisor

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the Marketing Supervisor is responsible for proposal management, corporate marketing, marketing initiatives and outsourcing. Must have a 4-year degree and at least 3 years experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review and analyze requests for proposal (RFPs) to establish an appropriate plan of action
  • Lead and manage the production of RFP response materials
  • Lead proposal planning meetings, kick-off meetings and storyboard sessions
  • Manage the proposal process by recording, tracking, and updating RFP information
  • Lead business development process by identifying and pursuing opportunities, through market research, account planning/review and setting up client meetings
  • Develop high quality marketing presentations and other collateral materials
  • Manage outsourcing of web development, printing and graphics
  • Manage production and updates of relevant marketing materials per established brand standards

IT Configuration Management Specialist

IT Systems Engineer


Duties Include:

The Systems Engineer will be working with architects to design, implement and configure the systems needed to support an enterprise Active Directory infrastructure. They will install, configure, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with Microsoft Windows 2008 Server and Active Directory.

Position Requirements

  • Three to five years of IT experience in a large enterprise organization supporting 5,000+ users.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Windows 2008, Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems.
  • Experience with Active Directory in all or some of the areas listed below:

    • Active Directory operations in large multi-forest environment.
    • Management of Active Directory schema and FSMO roles for forests and domains.
    • Management and troubleshooting of Active Directory replication for forests and domains.
    • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 including upgrading and troubleshooting skills.
    • Understanding of Group Policy concepts (GPO).
    • Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, WINS and DHCP.
    • ITIL 3.0 certification.
    • Knowledge of VMWare virtualization using Hyper-V.
    • Configuration Management.
    • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, or AA degree with three years of experience.

    HR Staffing Specialist


    Duties Include:

    This position is responsible for assisting the human resources staff with carrying out a range of human resources operations.

    • Drafts new vacancy announcements, recommends modifications or edits to existing vacancy announcements, and all related data in the automated staffing system. Posts vacancy announcements to USAJOBS and other job board sites.
    • Conducts job analyses to ensure the draft vacancy announcements enable Government personnel to determine an applicant's ability to satisfy vacancy requirements.
    • Drafts recruitment actions and specifies the duty statements including qualification standards, KSA questionnaire, selective factors, weighting and screen-out elements.
    • The Staffing Specialist assists the Coast Guard in reviewing and maintaining the Question Library used for online vacancy announcements. Examples of support include: reviews, creates, modifies and edits position-specific questions as new content is required for additional recruitment actions.
    • Coordinates with HR specialists and subject matter experts (SME's) to conduct job analyses and build questions for use in the automated staffing system.
    • Prints selection certificates from the automated system (after they are approved by a government HR specialist) and notifies the appropriate staff to take action.
    • Conducts research into federal government, agency regulations, policy and procedures to answer general questions from employees or applicants about staffing.

    Position Requirements:

    • Experience with Federal HR staffing a must.
    • Experience designing and posting online vacancy announcements.
    • Design/edits position-specific questions.
    • Experience applying veterans preferences.
    • Experience rating and ranking applications and issuing certificates.
    • Experience using Monster Hiring Management to manage job applicants (preferred).

    Classification Specialist


    The Classification Specialist is responsible for designing, classifying, auditing and evaluating positions and position structures within Federal agencies.

    Duties Include:

    • Skills and experience in processing personnel transactions, detailed knowledge of Federal HR business processes and supervisory skills to administer HR processes in position classification, position management and organizational design
    • Provides HR process services and interact with clients at the supervisory level and/or provide HR advisory services to Federal HR policy and operations specialists
    • Develops position descriptions, classify positions and perform desk audits
    • Performs consistency reviews
    • Develops or interprets HR policy or guidance
    • Processes personnel transactions into Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
    • Prepares HR reports or analytics
    • Responds to technical questions received via phone or email

    Position Requirements:

    • College Degree
    • A minimum 4 years experience with Federal position classification
